Buy or Sell a Home - Help a Charity
I have started "Homes That Help" as a way to bring potential home buyers and sellers my way while at the same time finding a way to help make a difference in the community. Let me explain:
Mission
Homes That Help is a service to home buyers and sellers where a portion of the commission on an everyday real estate transaction is utilized to make a donation to a designated charitable or developmental organization of your choice. This also provides a new avenue for these organizations in terms of fundraising opportunities of which they may have previously not explored. Homes That Help is based in Oakland County, Michigan. If you are outside of this general area or other circumstances arise where I need to refer you to another agent, your organization can still benefit from this service.
How It Works
In the sale or purchase of a home, real estate sales professionals earn a commission by bringing buyers and sellers together. A client desiring to use my service would first contact me when they want to buy or sell a home and mention "Homes That Help". Once a closing is complete on the purchase or sale of a home, as a closing gift, I will donate to the charitable/developmental organization of your choice based on the following scale**:

| Less than $100,000 | $50 |
| $100,000 - $250,000 | $100 |
| $250,000 - $500,000 | $250 |
| $500,000 - $999,999 | $500 |
| $1,000,000 and up | $1000 |
In the case where I would need to refer you to another agent, I would donate 10% of the net referral fee I receive from that agent ($50 minimum). Furthermore, if I can service your real estate needs in the sale of your existing home AND the purchase of a new home, you can apply the above table to both sides of the transaction, thereby increasing the benefit to your organization dramatically!
** Table does not apply to incoming referrals (example: HomeGain, other internet-based referrals). Incoming referrals are eligible for a $50 donation to your charity of choice.
