For Investors
After consulting with a financial adviser, you may decide to make real estate a part of your investment portfolio. There are several different options out there which you may be interested in pursuing :
- “Fixer-upper” properties - buy a home in need of repair, do the repairs, then re-sell the home
- HUD homes - another category of fixer-uppers. You can search for these at their website
· Foreclosures - a little more to it than just buying a list from infomercials or 800 numbers. If you would like a link to a list of bank-owned properties on the MLS, contact me with the area you are interested in and I'll send it ou to you. Also, if foreclosure auctions interest you, a firm by the name of Hudson and Marshall is one organization that handles these across the country. You can click here to see when the next area auction is scheduled.
· Rentals - buy a single or multi-family property, rent it out
· Join a real estate investment club - click here for a list of clubs in the area
I’d be happy to discuss any of these in greater detail if you are interested...just call or e-mail!
